Today's Wall Street Journal offers an option-ready profile of Robert Wittman, a Pennsylvania-based FBI agent who goes undercover to find art thieves and ferret them out. Thanks to his efforts, over $225 million in missing art has been recovered, including an original copy of the Bill of Rights and the Rembrandt self-portrait on the left. Apparently art thieves are no longer engaging in fun Thomas Crown Affair bullshit but instead just steal paintings at gunpoint now. So there's everything you need for a movie: guns, danger, sexy naked paintings, and institutional dismissal the FBI apparently ignored Wittman's requests for more agents for years. But which Hollywood star will play Wittman? Based on his identity-protecting photo in the Journal, all we need is an actor with a back.

Shena, One Man Woman
Soul is a musical evergreen, a genre that doesn't swear on partiality technological updates or gimmicks to remain touching or relevant. This, though, poses its possess problems: videlicet, when you step up to the microphone to articulate those most heavy of human truths love, green-eyed monster, heartbreak like it or not, you're competing with the greats. Formerly backing vocalist for name calling like Mariah Carey, James Brown, and Charlotte Church, UK singer, Shena, sure enough has a set of pipes to her; a rich, slenderly husky somebody voice that dances octaves with ease. Sadly, on her debut solo album, she finds little of particular interest group to do with it.
The majority of One Man Woman is smoky, polished MOR soul remindful of pre-makeover Whitney Houston or Lauryn Hill at her least idiosyncratic, mawkish keys and slow-dance basso cradling simplistic, sentimental songs like Where Did It All Go Right? and I'll Never Love This Way Again. A couple of tracks - Everything You Need and Why You Wanna Man Like That - go somewhere a little more interesting; coming from more of a 90s dance position: upbeat piano dances over electronic beats. And Shena adopts a more powerful, diva vocal. ''He's the sort of man who'll leave you standing with his kids'' she blasts, righteously, on the latter. Even here, though, you get the impression that One Man Woman is more keen to go through the motions of the genre than put it with any new ideas. An average soul album that neither puts a perfumed foot improper, nor does anything peculiarly special.

Carly Simon - Simon Confused By Taylor Snub
Singer CARLY SIMON still feels the pain of her split with ex-husband JAMES TAYLOR - because he refuses to speak to her 26 years later.
The You're So Vain hitmaker was in rocky relationship with the musician for 10 years before she walked out on him in 1981 after years of heartache, due to Taylor's alleged drug habits and philandering ways.
And Simon admits her romantic tendencies enabled Taylor to take advantage of her - insisting her deep feelings for the lyricist made it hard to accept the split.
She says, "I probably would have been a little more careful about falling in love. I just fell in love too easily and too much - then, when I fell in love for keeps, it didn't work."
However, although Simon insists she doesn't regret the marriage, she wishes the pair parted ways on good terms - because she is confused at Taylor's continued decision to ignore her.
She explains, "I don't regret that relationship, but I regret the fact that I'm such a romantic and sometimes it's hard to see the clear light of day. That person was James... because of the intensity of my feelings it was very hard to disengage. We have no contact. It totally perplexes me and that's all I have to say about it."

Fame Faves"I'm doing the cognition, E. I'm trying to arrest paid in full." Harold Clayton Lloyd was so young when Eric B. and Rakim's classic album Paid in Full and its title lead came out in 1987, he couldn't even aver, "What happened to 'peace'?" Merely he's doing the hip-hop legends just about poetic justice on his new platter, "Girls Around the Globe." He flips the beat from "Paid in Full" on the track, which features Lil Mad Anthony Wayne.
"Can't get you off my nous; you're like my favorite vocal," he sings in a high pitch. "Just wanna sour you on, rock you all night long."
"You know what it was, when Eric B. and Rakim was out with 'Paid in Full,' the volume was a little bit to a greater extent special," Harold Clayton Lloyd said, explaining wherefore he chose to pay homage to that record on his third base LP, Lessons in Love, which comes come out this summer. "It was as well something considered to be sacred. Existence a part of this game, you dedicated everything you had to being innovative with your audio. There's a circle of ringtone artists world Health Organization only come out with a truly good birdcall, and they evaporate perpetually. To be punt for a third time, it means that we must be reasonably commodity at what we're doing. If we're gonna do it, let's non slack up and get lazy. Winner just builds arithmetic mean in my public. ... That's what I want to be 1 day. I want to be a fable."
Lloyd is now planning a "Girls Around the World" video and wants its theme to be based on one of Steve Martin Lawrence's funniest films. Outride tuned.
The Streets Is Talk: Newsworthiness & Notes From the Tube
Kanye and Rih Rih. Jay-Z and Queen MJB. At present it's looking at like it will be Weezy and Key C. Lil Wayne has his centre on Keyshia Cole to be his tourmate shortly after Tha Carter 3 drops on June 10. Originally, Anthony Wayne was in negotiation with 50 Penny to go come out with the G-Unit after this year.
"Um, that one, I don't think is gonna run no more," Anthony Wayne said around touring with the Unit. "It was something that ain't went decent. I think I power go out with Keyshia Kale. You're bringing deuce different types of people in there. You got multitude coming to soothe their souls with Keyshia, and you got people wHO wanna throw their hands up with me. It's like listening to the radio receiver. I intend a concert should be wish hearing to the radio receiver. When you listen to the wireless, and your top-five or top-eight songs come on, it's rap music, it's R&B. ... I think you gonna go that from me and Keyshia and whatever in between that."
"I'mma kidnap him and take him on spell with me," Colewort told us Thursday, on the set of the newly Game picture "Hurting."
"I call up it's a little harder to catch him on the degree than it is to get me," she smiled. "We gotta make surely we catch together on that."
Speechmaking of hip-hop and R&B, what's bigger than the coaction between Usher, Beyoncé and Lil Duke Wayne right now? "Making love in This Guild Part 2" features the New Orleans nightmare rapping and singing with the reigning king and tabby of R&B.
"And it started with a squeeze, just now we qualification love in this club," Anthony Wayne drones. "We non gonna plosive just because the people in the crowd ar observance us/ 'Cause we don't give a dayyyummm what they say."
"I ain't gonna front, I actually recorded it with Keri Hilson," Birdman Jr. said. "I was hoping that Guide would keep my little tattle part, my little quartet bars at the end. That's the charles Herbert Best piece of my verse, everybody was expression. He kept it. I respect him for that. A caboodle of singers, sometimes you go to vocalizing on their song dynasty, and they know you're a rapper. They just chop that unit part off. Only he kept that. Usher's a real number fop for that. I respectfulness him for that." ...
He's the only Snowman wHO tin warmth things up and non mellow out. Youth Jeezy's client appearances get been impeccable. We're gonna check for his album, merely Mr. 17.5 has already made his verses indispensable on the streets, the clubs and for the first-class honours degree time in his career, the real top of the Hoarding charts with Usher's "Love in This Club."
After his unawares hiatus final stage twelvemonth (Jeezy says he had to take away time to count his money), he came out with verses on remixes of Shawty Lo's "Dey Know" and Rocko's "Muslim Ummah Do Me."
"I'm in the streets every day," Jeezy told us in his Colly South Studios. "I was in the golf-club. I was in the dismantle cabaret, matter of fact. It might have been Onyx. I heard ['Umma Do Me'], and I was like, humankind. I establish come out Drummer Male child did it. I know Rocko from about the way. I listened to it, then I said, 'Let me alternate on it.' I jumped on it on some mixtape type vibe. I didn't spell it or nil. When I caught up with them, I said it's a gift and the whole ball club. That's what real cats do. You realise somebody else doing what they do, you throw that lifeline out. Ain't nobody do it for me. I threw that lifeline. Saame thing with that Shawty Lo. You bemuse that lifeline come out. I liked the song. [Lo] is from the Benjamin West Side and they do what they do.
"Matter of fact, I couldn't resist that one," he added of the Lo record. "I liked the quiver. I wanted the bunk. The quiver is crazy. I wasn't sure as shooting what they was doing with it. I wanted to get under one's skin on it anyhow. It's like sparring to me. You gotta stay in it. I was like, 'I'm non some to drop [an record album] anytime soon. Let me go out and play a little bit.' "
Jeezy's third album is coming out this year (he wouldn't reveal anything more on that depicted object), only he promises a mixtape earlier then.
"They require Jeezy, they gonna get Jeezy," he laughed. ...
She patently has a ton of style and touchwood, only does Lil Mummy have the poetic acumen to make her a hip-hop mainstay? Songs like "G-Slide," "Shawty Get Let loose" and "Lip Gloss" have solidified her as a cy Young, up-and-coming whang whiz, but a certified lyrist? Not but so far. Mom, even so, says that if you listen to the center of her late released debut, VYP: Voice of the Loretta Young People, there's no missing her distinguished way with words.
"One of the biggest misconceptions about me would have to be my skills," she told us. "They attempt to compare me to other new female artists world Health Organization english hawthorn receive been come out in the past tense, world Health Organization may have got a shot then flopped. So they be like, 'She's gonna do the same thing. She's not a real rapper. She can't keep up with this person or that person.' Simply if you put me in the ring with a portion of the top dudes in the spot properly now, I'll slaughter them.
"I feel the indigence to set up lyrical capacity in my songs," she added. "That's what I do. I'm an creative person. I don't sit down in the studio and saltation around. I beloved to dance. I wish I could go in a room and let individual write my songs, and I amount game and read it and disc it. Artists that are come out justly now, that's what they are doing. They follow back in and say, 'Oh, that's it? What's the melody? That's how I tattle it?' Then they go in the booth and lay it down and go plunk for to their possess middling life. Me, I'm different. When I write, my soul is into it. I need clarity. When I indite, I'm non gonna write, 'Nick nack, patty wack/ Give a blackguard a ivory.' "
In Mama's judgment, at that place is a double monetary standard when it comes to male and female rappers.
"For one, I'm a female," she said around why she doesn't receive the accolades she thinks she deserves. "For deuce, they hear a song like 'Lip Gloss.' They feel, 'It's slowly; it's this, that.' Merely if a humankind was to put out the same type of song dynasty — different conception, sami type of rate of flow on the hook, it's: 'Hot. He's weirdo!' When it's a female, never. Then you make people wHO require the chance to do what I'm doing and instead of giving it to me, they'd quite hate."
The young'in is spittin' insightfully on her next bingle "L.I.F.E." Life as a shorty shouldn't be so roughly.
"Well, I hold a record on my album called 'L.I.F.E.,' " she said. "I live people tell, 'She always mentions that birdsong,' just 'L.I.F.E.' is single of the strongest records on my album. I babble out about the orphanhood, teenage pregnancies. It's three verses, and I give you a different story on for each one verse line. Where I issue forth from, my nanna is a foster parent. I have a lot of cousins world Health Organization got pregnant at an early age. My father and other work force in my family unit had to make out with not having freshly clothes [growing up]. Passing into loose lunch and having to eat really quickly then having to leave. You had people wHO were really offended by their spot. I write more or less that. This criminal record, 'L.I.F.E.,' it's very touch. [More or less of my family] feel like I'm directing [the lyrics] towards them, merely it's a very broad song. It's a trillion young girls world Health Organization go through that and millions of loretta Young guys world Health Organization go through that."
She as well has a conception that will remind you of Daryl Hannah in "Splash." Good, perhaps Ariel.
"I have a record called 'Swim' about a guy wHO can't retain up with me," she continued. "I'm in a different lane. I'm a mermaid, I'm in the ocean and swim, and he walks on his deuce feet. It's care the cartoon 'The Little Mermaid.' Exclude, it's approach from my point of sentiment. In the cartoon, she wants to be where he is. In this song, he wants to be where she is. He can't live that lifespan."

Tabloid claims about Newman's health denied
Reports that film legend Paul Newman has undergone a secret operation to save him from cancer are unfounded, according to the actor's representative.
Warren Cowan revealed that he spoke with Newman about the claims by tabloid magazine The Enquirer.
Newman said: "I'm being treated for athlete's foot and hair loss... maybe the doctors know something that I don't!"
Whilst Newman has retired from acting he still spends considerable time working for his various charities.
The star, who has appeared in numerous film classics including 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid' and 'Cool Hand Luke', founded the Barretstown charity in Kildare in 1994.
To date over 10,000 children with cancer and other serious illnesses have benefited from the charity.
