In 1983, Nacho Cano began composition, starting with a song called "Me He Enamorado De Un Fan," performed by local act Rubi, and he later on produced a six-piece group from Valencia called Betty Troupe. Soon later on, the artist participated in the Sal Gorda's flick soundtrack, as well producing La Unión's debut album. When Mecano stone-broke up in 1992, Nacho Cano hard on his solo calling, recording an album called Un Mundo Separado Por El Mismo Dios, released by Virgin in 1994, followed by 1996's El Lado Femenino, issued in English and French a year later. We Cant Wait for FBI Art Squad, the Movie

Photo: FBI

Today's Wall Street Journal offers an option-ready profile of Robert Wittman, a Pennsylvania-based FBI agent who goes undercover to find art thieves and ferret them out. Thanks to his efforts, over $225 million in missing art has been recovered, including an original copy of the Bill of Rights and the Rembrandt self-portrait on the left. Apparently art thieves are no longer engaging in fun Thomas Crown Affair bullshit but instead just steal paintings at gunpoint now. So there's everything you need for a movie: guns, danger, sexy naked paintings, and institutional dismissal the FBI apparently ignored Wittman's requests for more agents for years. But which Hollywood star will play Wittman? Based on his identity-protecting photo in the Journal, all we need is an actor with a back.

Shena, One Man Woman

Soul is a musical evergreen, a genre that doesn't swear on partiality technological updates or gimmicks to remain touching or relevant. This, though, poses its possess problems: videlicet, when you step up to the microphone to articulate those most heavy of human truths love, green-eyed monster, heartbreak like it or not, you're competing with the greats. Formerly backing vocalist for name calling like Mariah Carey, James Brown, and Charlotte Church, UK singer, Shena, sure enough has a set of pipes to her; a rich, slenderly husky somebody voice that dances octaves with ease. Sadly, on her debut solo album, she finds little of particular interest group to do with it.

The majority of One Man Woman is smoky, polished MOR soul remindful of pre-makeover Whitney Houston or Lauryn Hill at her least idiosyncratic, mawkish keys and slow-dance basso cradling simplistic, sentimental songs like Where Did It All Go Right? and I'll Never Love This Way Again. A couple of tracks - Everything You Need and Why You Wanna Man Like That - go somewhere a little more interesting; coming from more of a 90s dance position: upbeat piano dances over electronic beats. And Shena adopts a more powerful, diva vocal. ''He's the sort of man who'll leave you standing with his kids'' she blasts, righteously, on the latter. Even here, though, you get the impression that One Man Woman is more keen to go through the motions of the genre than put it with any new ideas. An average soul album that neither puts a perfumed foot improper, nor does anything peculiarly special.

David Blaine - Blaines Glass Eating Trick

Magician DAVID BLAINE stunned onlookers at a New York restaurant by smashing a glass - and proceeding to eat it piece by piece.

The renowned illusionist was recently out dining with a group of friends, including professional poker player Phil Ivey, at the Tao eaterie, when Ivey asked Blaine to provide some unusual entertainment - in return for $10,000 (GBP5,000).

A source tells the New York Daily News, "David was doing a bunch of tricks, but Phil wanted to see something spectacular. He offered David $10,000 to eat a glass from the table."

So Blaine broke a large glass and then ate every shard, much to the horror of fellow diners.

And the star's representative confirmed that the stunt was genuine, saying, "This did happen and was completely real."

Miley Cyrus - Cyrus Almost Quit Over Photo Scandal

MILEY CYRUS came close to quitting showbusiness following the fuss surrounding her provocative Vanity Fair photos, according to her pal and HANNAH MONTANA co-star ANNA MARIA PEREZ DE TAGLE.

The actress, who plays Cyrus' sidekick Ashley on the hit kids TV show admits she's had to boost her friend during recent phonecalls - because the teen sensation is so downbeat of late.

The 15-year-old was forced to apologise to fans when a topless shot of her, wrapped in a bedsheet, appeared as part of a Vanity Fair photospread, upsetting family groups and parents across America.

And Perez de Tagle admits the whole controversy has been tough on her friend.

She says, "Sometimes I'll talk to her on the phone and she'll be like, 'It's really hard' or 'I'm really tired. I can't do this.'

"I'll always say, 'You do want to do this. You love your job.'

"It (photo scandal) really hurt her. She didn't know that people would look at it like that."
